Well, I'm new to automation and would like to know if you could help me:
I wanted to create a strategy that today I use manually, bet on Lay to a greyhound that his odds has not been at any time, less than 8 and not greater than 15
The bet will be made on Lay to a greyhound that within those criteria spoken above, and that is with the odds between 9 and 11 at the moment of the bet and that is at the maximum 1 to 3 minutes to start the race
And I would like to enter the initial stake
Returning green, the next bet will be the initial stake of the project and adding the total profit achieved on the day by the strategy
And stop when make 10x of the initial stake

Hi, the strategy is finally ready and tested on Ipposnif 2.2. It will be compatible also with the imminent version 2.3. You can download it from here: www.ipposnif.com/download/strategies/Greyhounds_Price_Bounds_Betting.zipYou have to unzip the file before importing into Ipposnif. It has been created starting from the strategy '-- New Empty Strategy --' and changing the criteria highlighted in red in the picture below. Follows a short description of these criteria, that you can tune accordingly with your experience.  1. I decided to test the strategy with a capital of 5 euro and a unit bet of 0.25 euro. 2. The strategy bets only on WIN markets of greyhounds races. 3. The bet must be placed between 3 and 1 minutes at the start of the event. 4. Only one bet at one time. This because we are betting the eventual profit of the day, and it is not possible to share it among more bets. 5. Bet only runners with an odd between 9 and 11. 6. Bet only runners with a historical price between 8 and 15. The net profit of the day must be lower than 2.5 euro (10 times the stake). This condition uses two internal Ipposnif functions: RaceHorseProperty and StrategyProperty. 7. We offset the price to a minimum of 9 (if the price initially is between bounds but then it steams and the strategy starts trailing it). 8. The stake is 0.25 plus the profit of the strategy. CASE WHEN, THEN, ELSE, END are SQL commands used to control the flow of the code. In this case, we want to add the profit of the strategy only if it is positive. Please do let us know how the automated strategy posted here works out for you. Is there a way to play with fake money (demo account) on Betfair? |

Hi, currently, I'm running only one strategy, described in this thread. I ran this strategy, only for the amount of time needed to test it. Feel free to run yourself and post the result and your considerations in a new thread. From my experience, selecting runners only by the odd doesn't give any kind of edge. It is like betting at roulette, believe me! The only chance it is to optimize the moments of luck and reduce the stakes during bad moments. No there isn't a "fake money" option, and it is not in the program to implement it. It is possible instead to use very small stakes (few cents) and test strategies with a capital of 2-3 euro. Bye |

excellent strategy, but why in your description do you talk about Lay and instead in the program strategy opens a position in back?

My first day testing this strategy ended with 16 bets, 1 win... ROI -28,5%. Will test it some more and see what happends in long term.
If anyone is interested in talking trading pls contact me. I want to take my trading to the next level, but think all communities are to expensive for me right now... I rather spend my money on practise trading!

Hello !!! I wanted to ask you to write a trigger for dog racing, I’ll write a strategy for you now:
1. The bet is made 10-15 minutes before the run on (LAY) at a coefficient of (9.0) - (12.0)
2. After the bet comes in, put the second bet (BACK) 5 ticks higher than the original bet
3. If the odds go the wrong way, make insurance (STOP LOSS) the third hedge bet

Hi eduard welcome to the forum. Dog races at 15 minutes at the start have markets with very low liquidity, and the overround is really bad. This means that if you place a LAY bet at the LAY odd with a bad overround, the chances to close the trade in profit, are very low. You have two ways: 1) you place the LAY bet at the best BACK price. This means that the bet starts unmatched. Not necessarily it will be matched, but if it is matched, you start the trade with an overround in your favor. 2) you wait until the overround is in your favor, then you place the first bet at the best LAY price. Let me know how do you prefer to proceed. |

1) you make a LAY bet at the best BACK price. This means that the bet starts great. This will not necessarily be a coincidence, but if it matches, you start trading with a surcharge in your favor.

Strategy ready! In only tested it briefly, please continue yourself tuning and testing. Add a new empty strategy (-- New Empty Strategy --.xml) and copy the settings from the image below.  | - 1. i used for testing a capital of 5 euro and a bet of 0.50
- 2. we play from 6 to 2 minutes at the start of the event
- 3. we enter the market when the overround indicates a market still in formation but not completely empty. Feel free to tune yourself this range.
- 4. max 2 markets traded at the same time
- 5. max 2 runners traded at the same time
- 6. odds range
- 7. we place the lay bet at the best back price
- 8. the size of the bet is 1/10 of the capital
- 9. the hedge bet is placed 5 ticks away
- 10. the price is offset at the best lay price. this means that we don't want to place the bet at a price between the lay and the back price.
- 11. 15 seconds at the start of the event the trade is hedged, or if the loss is greater than 10 ticks.

Привет Иппосниф! Я хотел попросить вас написать мне еще один триггер для скачек!
Я хочу поставить ставку LAY сам и триггер так, чтобы моя ставка была очищена, я поставил обратно НАЗАД на 10 тиков выше, чем предыдущая ставка, а стоп-лосс составил 20 тиков. Заранее спасибо !!!
Сделайте сделку на выбранной лошади с входной ставкой типа Back и выходной ставкой типа Lay, которая хеджирует текущую позицию.
Торговля может быть начата двумя способами:
1) выбрать бегуна, чтобы сделать обратную ставку размером 5. Цена - лучшая цена для спины на тот момент минус 5 тиков (для увеличения шансов на матч).
2)
Когда первая ставка полностью соответствует, автоматически создается вторая ставка Lay.
Сделайте ставку на выбранную лошадь, сделав входную ставку вручную (например, стратегию свободной руки) и выходную ставку противоположного типа, которая хеджирует текущую позицию.

Я не знаю, как написать триггер, чтобы одна ставка была сделана мной, а после ловли вторая ставка была автоматически установлена триггером на 10 тиков плюс прибыль.
