30 Aug 2020 Update: A new version will be released soon to solve the issues present in the v3.0 setup.
If you have experienced issues during setup, try to manually download and install the following two dependencies, and then rerun the setup.
www.ipposnif.com/download/SqlLocalDB.msi
www.ipposnif.com/download/msoledbsql_18.2.1.0_x64.msi
If you are using windows 7, and the setup fails, check the reason in the log file:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Ipposnif3\LogIpposnif.txt
If in the last lines of the log you find:
2020-08-26T19:53:43 Scheduling - Multiple Lay[ok]
2020-08-26T19:53:43 ERROR: 5 Invalid procedure call or argument
or you find:
2020-08-27T16:21:58 Local Timezone:AUS Eastern Standard Time
2020-08-27T16:21:58 ERROR: 5 Invalid procedure call or argument
most probably the reason is that your PC is missing the TLS1.2 protocol (needed to connect to the Betfair servers).
You can try to monitor/fix this issue using this program (free no installation needed):
www.nartac.com/Products/IISCrypto/
you should activate the protocol like in the picture below:
