Hi, another query I'm afraid! This time I'm looking at a strategy that requires me to only place bets based on criteria that also involves information of other runners.
I'm trying to work out the trigger that would let me include a check on the second favourite. I want to check the price of the second fav at 1 min pre off and verify it was below 4.0. I then also want to check the price of the third favourite and verify it was below 6.0 at 1 min pre off. I'm trying to get a combo of horse at position_1 with a check of 1 min price. Then the same with horse at position_2 with a check of 1 min price. Not even sure that's possible! I've tried a few things but can't get anywhere.
Amazing if you could help,
Thanks
Rob

I've not given up on this. I've simplified what I need to do as part of the trigger. The condition needs to be the third fav BSP being greater than 6. Would this need to be a nested function? Something like this?
dbo.fn_RaceHorseProperty(@id_race, dbo.fn_RaceProperty(@id_race, @id_favourite_3), @bsp, 1) > 6

Thank you for your help. It seems easy when you provide the answer! I am learning I think. My next goal is to make a manual tickoffset strategy for lay to back bets.

Hi, I'm not sure if this is still open but I'd like to do something similar for UK horse racing only and the differences being, I would like to:
Trigger LAY on 1st favourite between 1.5 & 2 if 2nd favourite LAY odds are below 6 and 3rd favourite LAY odds are below
Hope this makes sense and is possible

Hi, do you mean the current price or the historical price? for the current price the formula is
dbo.fn_RaceHorseProperty(@id_race, @id_favourite_1, 'lay_prices', 1) BETWEEN 1.5 AND 2

Hi, yes. I do mean current price. Thanks, this is really helpful.
Could you please also let me know if my below attempt is correct for laying 1st favourite, if lay odds are between 1.5 and 2, as long as 2nd favourite lay odds are below 6 and 3rd favourite lay odds are below 10. Correct me if I'm wrong. This would be entered in the Trigger Condition?
dbo.fn_RaceHorseProperty(@id_race, @id_favourite_1, 'lay_prices', 1) BETWEEN 1.5 AND 2
IF
dbo.fn_RaceHorseProperty(@id_race, @id_favourite_2, 'rec_lay_price', 1) < 6
AND
dbo.fn_RaceHorseProperty(@id_race, @id_favourite_3, 'rec_lay_price', 1) < 10

Hi, if i got well your point you simply need to join the conditions using AND
so:
dbo.fn_RaceHorseProperty(@id_race, @id_favourite_1, 'lay_prices', 1) BETWEEN 1.5 AND 2
AND
dbo.fn_RaceHorseProperty(@id_race, @id_favourite_2, 'rec_lay_price', 1) < 6
AND
dbo.fn_RaceHorseProperty(@id_race, @id_favourite_3, 'rec_lay_price', 1) < 10
