Hi thanks for the great program there is obviously a lot of potential with this software but I am struggling with a couple of things, - How do you do an automatic Dutch bet i.e. Back 1-4-6 on the greyhounds
- how do I do an offset bet in-play to green up if PL is x
- How can I load in a list of horses i wish to trade on ? (like a csv file )
any help or video tutorials that would help ?
Keep up the good work and i am sure if you continue to do videos of how to best use the software with examples you will have many new users.
Regards

Hi, the program has been designed, abstracting the betting process, to offer to the user the largest customizability possible. This flexibility has a disadvantage: the user must tell the program, in detail, what it has to do. For example, your three requests can be done by the program, but none of them directly with the basic functionalities. 1) Dutching is basically the result of a formula. If you want to dutch the whole field, the size of each runner bet is liability/runner_price. There is an example strategy for this: Manual - Hedge The Field. If you want to dutch a subset of the field, things become more complicated because you need to re-equalize the three prices to make them represent the "whole field", and then perform the division. This needs a dedicated SQL function. I'm adding it to the to-do list for the next release. 2) Ipposnif betting process works with trades. Please read this page to understand the Ipposnif basics of trades and bets. If the market PL overcomes a certain amount, you can order all the trades of the market to hedge the current position. When all the trades are hedged, the market is hedged too. The variable used to trig the hedge is @market_profit. 3) This is something that I wished to explain for a while. So in the next days, I will publish, here in the forum, an article on how to access an excel sheet from a strategy. Basically, SQL can read an external sheet like a table, and easily check if a runner is present in one specific column of the excel sheet. Thank you for your interest in the program. If you overcome the initial difficulty of the program, you will acquire a powerful ally in your betting activity.
